Es el fin del año escolar, llega el calor y con él los cortes de luz en los suburbios de Río de Janeiro. Karol, Junior, Ronaldo y Caio tienen un duro verano por delante.
Con condiciones de vida precarias, estos cuatro jóvenes se enfrentarán a las incertidumbres de la edad adulta. Así inventarán nuevas formas, tal vez impensables, de seguir creciendo y soñando.

It is the end of the school year, the heat arrives and with it the power outages in the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro. Karol, Junior, Ronaldo and Caio have a tough summer ahead of them.
With precarious living conditions, these four young people will face the uncertainties of adulthood. This way they will invent new ways, perhaps unthinkable, to continue growing and dreaming.

About The Director
Jo Serfaty es una directora y guionista con un máster en cine de la Universidad Federal Fluminense en Río de Janeiro. En 2019, lanzó su primer largometraje, «»Un filme de verano,»» que se proyectó en varios festivales internacionale.
Además de su largometraje, ha dirigido y escrito cortometrajes y participa en comités de selección de fondos de Sundance y también actúa como tutora en el DOC SP.

Jo Serfaty is a director and screenwriter with a master’s degree in film from the Federal Fluminense University in Rio de Janeiro. In 2019, she released her debut feature film, «A Summer Film,». In addition to her feature film, she has directed and written short films and serves on the selection committees for Sundance grants. She also works as a mentor at DOC SP.
