Rodada durante los meses turbulentos previos a las elecciones brasileñas y la toma del Congreso y el Supremo Tribunal Federal de Brasil el 8 de enero de 2023, la película explora, a través de personajes involucrados en el proceso, dos mundos paralelos incapaces de verse mutuamente.

Shot during the turbulent months leading up to the Brazilian presidential elections and the storming of Congress and the Supreme Court on January 8th, 2023, the film looks at these moments through the eyes of characters involved in the process, articulating the personal and the political. At a time when democracy was at risk, it explores the existence of two worlds unable to see each other.

Acerca del Director

Sandra Kogut trabaja en la frontera entre el documental y la ficción y sus películas han recibido decenas de premios internacionales. Notables obras incluyen “Un Passaporte Húngaro” y “Mutum”, este último estrenado en Cannes. “Campo Grande” y “Tres Veranos” debutaron en el Festival de Toronto (TIFF), recibiendo premios en varios festivales globales como La Habana, Antalya, Málaga y Mar del Plata.

Between documentary and fiction, Kogut’s work has been shown at MoMA, Guggenheim, Harvard Film Archive, The Flaherty, Forum des Images; and won awards at Oberhausen FF, Leipzig FF, Vue sur les Docs, ZKM, Berlinale, Rotterdam FF, Havana, Malaga, Antalya, Mar del Plata, Rio, amongst others. MUTUM (2007) premiered at Cannes, CAMPO GRANDE (2015) and TRÊS VERÕES (2019) premiered at TIFF.
