Manu Rosa is a filmmaker and graduate of the Film School of Uruguay (Escuela de Cine del Uruguay). His graduation short film, *La Penumbra*, premiered at the International Film Festival of Uruguay. In 2024, he participated in the international residency program CineMarea, where he shot his first feature film, *Un Lugar Mejor*. In 2025, he traveled to the EICTV in Cuba and filmed the short documentary *Cagüeyro*, which premiered at the José Ignacio International Film Festival (JIIFF).
