Cristian Pirovano (Buenos Aires, 1978) is an Argentine photojournalist and documentarian. He has contributed to media outlets such as Mediapart, Le Point, and Revista Crisis. He co-directed *¡Yallah! ¡Yallah!* (2018) and *Defensoras en el laberinto* (2022). In 2026, he completed *Más grandes que Israel*, co-directed with Palestinian filmmaker Ismael Al Bes. He is the author of the photobook *Del otro lado del muro*, which focuses on daily life in Palestine.
Ismael Al Bes (Palestine, 1980) is a Palestinian photographer and documentary filmmaker. He studied media at Al-Khodori University and, for over two decades, has produced audiovisual work focused on the Israeli occupation of Palestine and the region’s humanitarian and social issues, with a particular emphasis on the situation of refugees. He has contributed to productions for television networks in various countries and currently works as a filmmaker and director of photography for Palestine TV. *Larger Than Israel* (2026), co-directed with Cristian Pirovano (Argentina), is his first feature-length documentary as a co-director.
